Salvia 'Indigo Spires'
A modern hybrid, related to S. farinacea and looking much the same. A robust plant with deep blue stems, deep blue spikes and a remarkably long flowering period that lasts till after the first frost. – A marvellous plant for the border and large pots, but not hardy. Treat it as a conservatory plant. – 150 cm
