The Anchusa officinalis is a biennial, belonging to the Boraginacea family, originally from Southern Europe and Turkey. The common ox-tongue with blue flowers that resemble forget-me-nots blooms abundantly from June to September. The plant grows to 60-100 cm high. V It is known for its medicinal properties. Ideal for flower meadows and natural borders. The flowers are attractive to bees.
