The Belamcanda chinensis , or leopard lily, is a short-lived perennial with striking orange flowers with leopard-like spots (from July to September) followed by large decorative seed pods with round black seeds. The plant grows to 60-90 cm high. Native to East Asia, with a long history in traditional medicine. Perfect for borders, rockeries and flower arrangements. The flowers attract pollinators.
