Cosmos bipinnatus 'Rosetta' , or simply Cosmos, has flowers with a layer of semi-double petals that resemble a collar around the yellow heart. The rosetta is a mix of soft pink and dark pink with white and dark pink accents, they look like hand-painted leaves. It also has a beautiful finely feathered leaf that adds a playful effect to bouquets. Blooms from June to October. Regularly cut away faded flowers for a longer bloom. Cosmos is one of the easiest cut flowers to grow and is perfect for beginners.
Pre-sowing is possible from March to April; direct sowing outdoors is possible from April to June.
Originating from Mexico and Central America, cosmos likes sunny, warm places and does not require special soil.
