Dianthus superbus 'Rainbow Loveliness' is a selection with flowers that are even more fragrant than those of the regular D. superbus, in a mixture of white to dark pink shades, with even more deeply incised petals. This carnation flowers from June to August. Hardy in very dry soil! It does not like wet feet.

Pre-sowing is possible in March-April, and direct sowing in open ground from May onwards.

Originally from Europe and Asia, the beautiful carnation grows best in sunny places with well-drained soil.
