Didiscus caeruleus , or blue lace flower, is a surprisingly long-flowering annual with small, delicate light blue umbels that look airy and elegant and fit everywhere, in the garden and in bouquets. Ideal for a subtle injection of colour in the garden. Flowers from July to September.
Sow indoors in March-April, and plant out after the last frost.
The blue lace flower is native to Australia, and likes full sun and well-drained soil.
