Echinacea purpurea 'Alba', also known as white coneflower, has beautiful white flowers with a large, golden brown heart. Beautiful perennial border plant, with medicinal properties, attractive to bees and butterflies and also an unsurpassed cut flower. Flowers from July to October. This flower adds a calm, refined look to the garden and can flower the first year.

Pre-sowing can be done indoors from February, or direct sowing outdoors from May.

Regularly removing faded flowers prolongs the flowering. The plant is winter hardy and requires little maintenance.

Native to North America, Echinacea likes well-drained soil in full sun.
