Echium vulgare 'Blue Bedder' or Viper's Bugloss, is a native biennial or perennial plant with hairy stems, bright blue flowers that turn pink. Blooms from June and produces new flower stems until the end of October.
Sow directly in the open ground in April or May. Pre-sowing is possible from March. It also sows itself easily in any type of soil
Native to Europe and Asia, it grows best in poor, well-drained, chalky soil in a sunny spot.
