Geum chiloensis 'Red Dragon' , known as Avens, has striking, fiery red flowers that brighten up the garden. It is a compact perennial with a strong appearance and long flowering from May to July and can be extended by regularly removing the faded flowers.

Pre-sowing is possible from February, sowing outdoors from April.

Native to Chile, it grows best in a sunny to semi-shaded spot in well-drained soil.
