Gilia tricolor is a bushy plant with an abundance of bell-shaped small flowers, white with a purple edge and a dark purple heart – which together create a cheerful, playful effect. The fragrant flowers not only attract bees and butterflies, they are also beautiful in bouquets. This flower gives every border an airy, natural atmosphere. Flowers from May to July.

Sow directly in open ground from April or sow in advance from March.

Native to California, it grows best in sunny spots with well-drained soil.
