Gomphrena globosa or globe aranth is a heat-loving plant with grey-green narrow leaves and spherical flower heads in purple tones, which are also suitable for drying - the plant blooms continuously from July until frost, and is therefore also very suitable for combinations in pots. This strong plant blooms for a long time and brings a lot of colour to the garden. Easy to care for, and regularly picking the flowers prolongs the flowering period.

Pre-sowing can be done indoors from March, and outdoors from May.

Native to the tropics of Central America, this plant grows well in sunny, well-drained soil.
