Leonotis nepetifolia 'Naivasha Apricot' is quite an impressive plant, this variety of 'lion's ear' can grow to 2m high (and more in the ground) annual, flowering all summer with numerous stems with whorled balls of flowers in a striking soft orange colour; bees and butterflies flutter around constantly - sowing is possible in a sheltered spot in full sun, in well-drained soil Flowering from August to October. Requires little maintenance.

Sow indoors in April and plant out in May.

Native to tropical Africa and Asia, it likes sun and fertile soil.
