'Siberian Motherwort' – an elegant Asian variety of the European Motherwort (L. cardiaca) with medicinal properties as well. For the garden it is a strong annual with natural elegance, can be used as an accent plant or as a background for lower growing annuals, with deeply incised, elongated leaves and lilac-pink flowers that grow in whorls around the sturdy stems
Sow indoors in March or directly outdoors in May.
Flowers from July to September. Regular pruning prevents self-seeding.
Originally from Asia, grows well in sunny, dry places.
