Lunaria annua (Honours Honesty): Decorative Seed Plants
Beautiful variety of Honesty, with dark brown-red leaves, which contrast beautifully with the numerous stems with lilac-purple flowers. These are fragrant, and attract many types of insects.

Sow in situ or on waiting beds in early summer for biennial cultivation, or in March-April for flowering in the same (late) year.

Flowers April to June in the second year. Allow seed heads to ripen for decoration.

Native to Europe, grows well in semi-shaded spots with nutritious soil.

With its graceful seed umbels a must-have for natural or decorative gardens.
