Nicotiana alata, Ornamental tobacco is the little brother of Nicotiana 'Tinkerbell', exceptionally long flowering (until November!). This variety is particularly decorative in large pots. It has numerous stems with large dark red trumpet-shaped flowers. In the evening they spread a wonderful scent.

Sow indoors from March to May, transplant later.

Blooms from June to September. Remove dead flowers for continuous blooming.

Native to South America, grows well in sunny spots.
