Nigella garidella, syn. Garidella nigellalastrum - Unknown species of ladybird - in green, with very finely formed, only 2 cm large, lavender-blue flowers, with which the plants are covered.
Sow directly outdoors from March to May in well-drained soil.
Flowers from June to August. Remove dead flowers or leave them for decorative seed pods.
Originating from Southern Europe, it likes sunny, warm places.
