The Phalaris canariensis , or canary grass, is an annual grass plant that is loved for its compact, decorative seed ears. This grassy plant is often used in bouquets or as food for birds.
Ideal for ornamental grass planting in the garden, in flower meadows or as a food source for birds. It is also beautiful in dried bouquets.

Sow directly in the open ground in spring. The seeds germinate quickly at temperatures above 10°C and only need a thin covering.

This plant thrives in well-drained soil in a sunny to lightly shaded spot. It grows quickly and reaches a height of about 60 cm.

Reed canary grass is native to the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Add graceful, airy accents to your garden with Phalaris canariensis. Perfect for both functional and decorative purposes!
