The Tweedia caerulea 'Heavenly Blue', or milkweed, is a delicate perennial with striking star-shaped flowers in sky blue. It flowers for a long time and adds a unique colour to gardens. It grows to about 60-90 cm high. Suitable for borders, pots and as a cut flower. The flowers are loved by butterflies.
Sow indoors in spring at 20-25°C. Transplant seedlings outdoors after the last frost.
This plant likes full sun and well-drained soil.
