Browalia americana (Amethyst Flower,)
In tropical South-America this is a perennial, elsewhere it is raised as an annual. Browalia prefers dappled shade. The little bright blue flowers with a white eye appear incessantly until the first frost. This is the original (wild) form with long stalks (60 cm).
