Leonotis leonurus (lion's tail, wild dagga)
Lion’s tail originates in South-Africa, where this ‘wild dagga’ was used for the euphoric effect of the flowers and leaves. Tall plants (tot 3m) with odd orange flowers, are set in different storeys on the stems. They open one after the other from the round bullets. Magnificent accent that goes on flowering in autumn after a hot summer. 50s
