Blue-flowering flax. One of the oldest crop plants around, grown both for its fibres (linen) and for its seeds (linseed oil). The long, upright stems are branched only at the top and feature blue flowers that are beautiful as cut flowers, while the stems with the seed capsules are suitable for dry bouquets.
