Nicandra physalodes (Shoo-Fly-Plant )
The still unknown shoofly plant is a big, sturdy plant, that flowers incessantly from July with large, blue, bell shaped flowers, followed by the characteristic deep green tinged Chinese lanterns. These are remarkably useful in autumn arrangements. Nicandra is happy with any soil and a place in full sun or shadow. It self-seeds freely and is very suitable for natural gardens. - up to 120 cm. - 300 s.
