The following General Sales Conditions apply to all orders and sales transactions by SILENE, whether for in-store sales, sales via the website www.silene.be, or any other sales channel. By placing an order, the customer accepts these general conditions without any reservation.
Identity of the seller
SILENE is the trade name of the private limited company SOLIDEN, located at Wijgmaalsesteenweg 135, 3150 Haacht, and registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under company number 1015.641.072
prices
The prices mentioned for the products and services offered are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, any taxes or other charges, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. For shipments outside Belgium, shipping costs will be charged and may be higher than those stated on the website. Shipping costs for countries not specified can be requested via email.
Payment can be made in one of the ways indicated during the ordering process. The date of crediting the bank account of SOLIDEN Bv is considered the date of payment. If you are in default of any payment, SOLIDEN Bv is entitled to suspend (the performance of) the relevant agreement and the associated agreement, or to terminate it.
All offers from SILENE are non-binding and SILENE expressly reserves the right to change prices. If the prices for the products and services offered increase during the period between the order and its execution, you are entitled to cancel the order and terminate the agreement within seven days of notification of the price increase by SILENE.
Orders & quotes
Only after sending the order confirmation email or after the execution has started are we bound by it. Information regarding the items, price, and delivery is provided subject to changes and corrections. Temporary discounts do not apply to gift vouchers, nor are they cumulative.
Privacy
Placing an order on the SILENE website means that the Buyer officially agrees to the processing of their personal data for administrative purposes, including but not limited to: management of the customer database, orders, invoices and deliveries, and monitoring financial solvency.
SILENE will not transfer personal data to third parties. The Buyer retains the right to access and rectify their personal data at all times. The Buyer also has the right to object free of charge to the processing of their personal data for Direct Marketing initiatives. For more information, the Buyer can contact the Commission for the Protection of Privacy in Brussels.
Intellectual property
The entire content of the Silene site, including texts, graphics, logos, buttons, images, HTML code, database, and icons, is the intellectual property of SOLIDEN Bv and is protected by intellectual property rights, such as copyright and the rights of the producer of a database. SOLIDEN Bv may prohibit the use of any part of a text, the entire website, or qualitatively or quantitatively substantial portions.
Any copy, translation, adaptation, modification or any use of the whole or any of the protected elements of the website, in any form and by any means, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from SOLIDEN Bv. Any request in this regard can be sent via the contact form. Any commercial use of the content of the site is strictly prohibited.
Unless explicitly refused without justification, creating a hyperlink to the homepage of the site at the address: https://www.silene.be, is permitted.
Force majeure
SILENE cannot be held liable for any delays in the execution or for non-fulfilment of our commitments due to events that occur outside the control of SILENE. Included in this are: difficulties in supply or shortages of raw materials, interruption or permanent suspension of production, strikes, lock-outs, any other form of work stoppages or collective labour disputes, energy or transport issues or delays in transport, which affect SILENE and/or suppliers of SILENE, even if these events are foreseeable. The failure to act immediately against a breach by the Buyer cannot in any way be considered as a waiver by SILENE to later invoke this breach.
Proof
Within the framework of their relationships, the Parties involved accept electronic evidence.
Applicable law
All agreements between the parties shall be exclusively governed by Belgian law. For the resolution of any dispute, only the courts of Leuven shall have jurisdiction.
