The A mmi majus 'Queen of Africa', white dill or lace flower, has a romantic appearance and is therefore often used as a filler plant for roses, in the garden or in bouquets. It is an elegant annual plant with finely divided foliage and has numerous delicate lace-like flower heads and resemble those of wild carrot.

It flowers from June to September and the faded seed heads are still quite decorative, especially when they turn into funny, finely crocheted purses as they ripen. In beautiful warm summers the plants branch out more and more into a cloud of white lace. Perfect as a cut flower or for natural borders and flower meadows where it attracts pollinators.

Sow directly in open ground in early spring or autumn.

It likes full sun and well-drained soil. The plant reaches a height of 90-120 cm.

Native to the Mediterranean region, where it grows in grasslands and open areas.
