Dracocephalum moldavicum , or dragon's head, is a herb with medicinal properties, growing well in normal garden soil that never dries out. The flower spikes, in blue or purple shades, appear all summer long. Flowering from June to August. The entire plant has a strong (lemon) aroma, which is used in tea, infusions, and even in the kitchen, in salads and all kinds of sauces. Ideal for herbaceous borders and bee pastures.
Pre-sowing is possible from March, direct sowing in open ground from May.
Native to Central Asia, this plant prefers sunny spots with light shade and well-drained but moist soil.
