Tropaeolum minus 'Bloody Mary'

‘Bloody Mary’ is a compact Indian cress with cream-yellow flowers featuring deep dark red streaks, almost velvety in texture, which stand out strikingly against the fresh green, round leaves. The plant has a low, bushy growth habit, making it ideal for pots, containers, edges, and low borders.

Like other varieties of Indian cress, both the flowers and leaves are edible and have a mildly spicy, peppery flavour. They are attractive in salads and as a colourful garnish. ‘Bloody Mary’ blooms for a long period, is easy to grow, and attracts bees and other pollinators.
